About the Role

DataSynix is looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join our Data & Analytics team. You will be responsible for building dashboards, data models, reporting solutions, and data pipelines that turn complex business data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Build optimized data models, DAX measures, KPIs, and visualizations.

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.

• Work with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Pipelines, and related services.

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation workflows.

• Use Python for data processing, automation, analysis, and integrations.

• Connect Power BI to databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and other data sources.

• Implement data security, including Row-Level Security (RLS).

• Optimize reports, semantic models, and queries for performance.

• Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective analytics solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in Power BI, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.

• Strong SQL skills — MUST HAVE.

• Strong Python skills — MUST HAVE.

• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query/M, and data modeling.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern data platforms.

• Understanding of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data integration.

• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft PL-300 or Fabric certifications.

• Experience with Azure Data Services.

• Experience with REST APIs.

• Knowledge of Git/version control.

• Experience with Power BI deployment pipelines and workspace management.
